Town Hall Meeting is set to discuss an awareness of the Hate-crimes that have been attacking the Thai Individuals and the minority communities in California.


Town hall meeting is set to be held on Sunday March 12, 2023 at Wat Thai Temple in North Hollywood California. The main discussions are to be about the hate incident as well as injury involved hate crimes, against the Thai individuals, Thai businesses, and the Thai communities.

Eric Parnes,  the attorney who is representing Ms. Rujira Amboon is the guest speaker. He will be updating us about the case of Ms. Rujira Amboon. Several discussions on the recent issues regarding crime and attacks on the Asian/Thai community, understanding the comparative legal processes between the USA and Thailand, and what is the best practices to reduce crime and how to use the increasing Thai population in the USA to effectuate changes and how to increase awareness within these communities.  And how to increase communication and between government and private services/ resources from the USA and Thailand.

The Hate Incident in San Francisco still makes no progress!

On the evening of December 11, 2022. Ms. Rujira Amboon a 31-year-old Thai woman was attacked by a man on a public bus in San Francisco and sustained an ear injury, in what the victim claimed was a racially motivated assault.

Ms. Rujira Amboon has described her attacker as a tall Latino man who sat next to her on public bus No. 14 despite there being several empty seats.

“I believe that the attack was associated with hate crime against Asians because I was the only Asian on the bus,” Ms Rujira said. “Why did this incident happen, and was it just because I am an Asian?

Mr. Thor Sornlump, the Consul-General in Los Angeles Sent a letter from the Consulate General, dated December 28, 2022, to Officer William Scott (William Scott), San Francisco Police Chief or SFPD (SFPD) to Concerned about the growing number of racist incidents targeting Asian and Thai communities in the San Francisco area.

The Consul-General urged the San Francisco police to investigate the case and arrest the suspect as soon as possible. There is also an online meeting. with the San Francisco Police Added again on Tuesday, January 10, by Mr. William Scott, Chief of the San Francisco Police Department. vowed to speed up the case.

Ms. Rujira Amboon also said that she still wants the authorities to arrest the perpetrator as soon as possible.

“Really, I don’t want to demand much. but just want him to be caught. I don’t want this incident to happen again, actually America is not that scary. We can still come to follow our dreams, come to study, come to do what we dream of, but be careful, just take good care of yourself as much as possible.” Ms. Rujira Amboon told Khaosod Media.
